The Which Worries? Therapeutic Card Set contains a range of common worry themes, plus two blank bubbles so children can begin to explore their own specific concerns.
Presenting this range of different worry scenarios to children can be reassuring in itself; it is always helpful to know that you are not the only person who could possibly feeling a certain way. Obviously, the themes of the cards are general and can lead the child into further exploration of the area that they find most difficult. For example, the worry about ‘How I look’ could lead into conversations about aspects of their body image, some cultural differences about how they dress or, indeed, issues relating to child poverty and them not being able to have new clothes as they grow/particular expensive fashion brands.
There are also three Worry Helper Cards, which are the very beginning stages of starting to equip children with empowering strategies to help them tackle their anxious thoughts.
