About The Creator.
Lynne Borrowdale is the Company and Clinical Director of Marvellous Resources Therapy Services (previously known as Marvellous Resources Ltd). She is an experienced Children and Families Therapist and Social Worker, who has an abundance of experience in Child Mental Health, Neurodevelopmental Conditions and Family Support. She has worked across the NHS (Child Mental Health Teams - CAMHS), Social Care (Fostering, Special Guardianship, Adoption and Post Adoption), Specialist Education and Residential Provisions as well as the Charitable Sector (Hospices and a Family Support Initiative).
Lynne can offer assessment, therapeutic intervention and consultation services to children, families and professionals across Hampshire and the surrounding counties. Currently, Lynne is able to provide two forms of Psychotherapy, Child-Centred Play Therapy and Filial Therapy, plus Autplay Therapy which is a combination of psychotherapy and behavioural techniques. In addition to this, Lynne can offer the behavioural and social communication based intervention of Lego-Based Therapy. Lynne has completed additional qualifications/CPD in relation to Autism Assessment, Trauma Play and Mindfulness.
In addition to her work with Marvellous Resources Therapy Services, Lynne is also the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for The British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT). Lynne has completed a Digital Marketing and Social Media qualifications to support her own business and BAPT role. Lynne is also a Unicef UK Children's Champion.
